Vitamin K Dark Circle Repair Eye Cream

As we shift slowly to post-lockdown, our company is experiencing considerable difficulties with manufacturing lead times and stock consolidation. Delays are variable across products.

We put specific protocols in place in February to ensure our products could be quickly and safely shipped and—in anticipation of pandemic related disruption—filled the warehouse with extra stock.

Unfortunately, as we enter this new phase we have encountered new challenges - the main one being that Ishtar's founder and CEO (i.e me! Hello!) became severely ill with COVID-19 early on in the pandemic. I have been in isolation at my home for 3 months due to significant long-tail health complications.

The warehouse team operate at a separate site, following strict distancing and hygiene protocols, but my continued absence has impacted upon administration.

It is with great sadness that I have had to step back during what has been an exciting time for our company - we won the BB Gold Awards for Ultralase Cleanse, and have some exciting new products in development that I can't wait to share. I hope that I will be returning soon, and I am doing my utmost best to resolve outstanding stock issues.

No two ways about it, 2020 has been a tough one.  When I founded Ishtar I would never have dreamt in a million years that at this moment, this year, our community would be experiencing such upheaval. I have learnt that some big names brands and outlets out there (some of whom we won awards alongside in the Beauty Bible Awards 2020) have engaged in outrageous acts of racial discrimination. Beauty products are sometimes seen as superficial and trivial but this is clearly not so.

To me, our daily skincare routines are important acts of self-care. Self-care is about self-respect. And through understanding that basic need in ourselves the simple truth emerges—care and respect are actions to be extended to everyone. I don't know about you, but last time I checked, there isn't a human alive that doesn't have skin? Skin is a physiological organ, within which the people we love, laugh and cry with just happen to reside.
