Ishtar Skinlights Powerful Duos For Every Skin Concern

One of the more frequent questions we receive from our lovely customers, either via email or social media, is how to slot our products in their existing routines.
We thought it would be helpful to put together a list of Ishtar products that target specific skin concerns. You can either pair them together or with products you already use in your routine.
Obviously, each of us has specific skin needs.
As we keep saying, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us in case you don’t know which product would be best suited for your skin.

If your skin is dry and dehydrated (and whose isn’t in this weather?), pair up Hydro-Magic Collagen Catalyst with Hydro-Charge facial oil for a serious boost of hydration.

Hydro-Magic Collagen Catalyst

What does it do?

Hydro-Magic Collagen Catalyst is a triple-action formula. It stimulates the skin cells to produce more collagen, it protects the existing collagen from environmental stressors and replenishes the skin’s moisture reserves.

What’s in it?

Tripeptide-5 (Syncoll™) increases collagen by stimulating Tissue Growth Factor, an essential component in collagen synthesis.
Natural Moisture Factor complex with added Beta Glucan replenishes the moisture reserves.

What does it do?

Hydro-Charge facial oil restores the moisture barrier as well as prevents biochemical reactions that cause degradation of collagen.

What’s in it?

Organic White Tea extract contains high levels of catechins, antioxidants that inhibit enzymes that degrade collagen and elastin.
Microalgae extract protects the skin against the stress reactions to cortisol and adrenaline.
Anhydrous Hyaluronic Acid Liposomes with Tripeptide-29 has a dual effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid minimises the appearance of fine lines and reduces inflammation. Tripeptide-29 boosts collagen synthesis.

Repair and soothe

If your skin is inflamed, irritated, or your moisture barrier is compromised, soothe and restore your skin with Skinbiotica Daily Defence and Multi-Ceramide Concentrate.

Skinbiotica Daily Defence

What does it do?

Skinbiotica Daily Defence is a recovery serum that restores dermal balance.

What’s in it?

A complex of prebiotics (Arabinogalactan & a-glucan Oligosaccharide) promotes healthy bacteria and a healthy skin pH. Also, it protects the skin against environmental stressors.
A complex of botanical isolates reduces inflammatory cytokines (associated with redness).
Canadian Rose Bay Willowherb extract has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.
Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans boost hydration and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Multi-Ceramide Concentrate

What does it do?

Multi-Ceramide Concentrate protects and restores the skin with a compromised moisture barrier. It is a light fluid that can be used on its own as a moisturiser or as a serum.

What’s in it?

Phytosterol Complex (cholesterol, stigmasterol, beta-sitosterol, and campesterol) soothes irritation, reduces roughness, improves hydration, and absorbs UV.
Organic White Tea extract is rich in antioxidants.
A complex of plant-isolated ceramides protects the skin, improves the structure of collagen and elastin, and smoothes mimic wrinkles.

If you are prone to congestion, try our skin-refining duo – Ultralase 10 Mandelic acid serum and Sebupore.

Ultralase 10 Mandelic acid serum

What does it do?

It is a leave-on treatment that stimulates deep level skin renewal. It treats and prevents blemishes, eases congestion, and over time, fades hyperpigmentation.

What’s in it?

10% Mandelic acid is an AHA derived from bitter almonds. Unlike other AHAs, Mandelic acid has unique antibacterial and antibiotics properties. This makes it a good choice of treatment for adult acne sufferers. Likewise, it is safer to use for people with darker skin tones as it has a lower risk of causing pigmentation issues.
Our formula combines Mandelic acid with a hydrating base of natural prebiotics and stress-protection molecule Glycoin.

Sebupore Exfoliant oil with LHA

What does it do?

Sebupore is exfoliating oil formulated with LipoHydroxy acid. It eases congestion, helps normalise sebum production, and promotes dermal equilibrium.

What’s in it?

Lipohydroxy acid is an ester of Salicylic acid. The immediate effect is that it helps dissolve the hardened deposits in the pores and eases congestion. Over time, it improves the skin’s texture and fades hyperpigmentation.
Green Cold Pressed Coffee oil is rich in antioxidants and skin-friendly bioactives.
Saw Palmetto extract regulates sebum production.

We’ll preface this by saying – make no mistake, getting older is a privilege. But that doesn’t mean we don’t need a little help along the way. If you’d like to treat those pesky fine lines (somehow they seem to appear overnight) or fade sun damage, pair our 2.5% Bioactive Retinol serum with Time CODE moisturiser for a powerful skin-rejuvenating effect.

What does it do?

Retinol is one of the most researched ingredients in skincare. It improves skin texture, sustains collagen, and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
